Concept: Have students choose 1 of the 3 phrases to write down and/or practice speaking on one of the cauldrons. Students who choose the phrase on a cauldron that a character hides in and is burned by the monster earns no points while the students who chose the phrase on a cauldron/where the character wasn’t burned earns a point. Click through the animations to see the scene play out. In the latter half of the game, the monster will burn 2 out of 3 cauldrons making it harder for students to earn points. The student(s) with the most points at the end of the game wins!
