Game Title: Memory
Concept: Have students break into two teams. Teams will take turns choosing two cards to flip. If the two cards’ images do not match, flip the two cards back over and then it’s the other team’s turn. If they choose a pair of images that match, the student who chose them along with one other student on their team should speak and/or write down the key phrases that includes the images they matched. i.e Student 1 matches two “ski” images. Student 2 from their team should ask “Can you ski?” and then student 1 replies back with either “Yes, I can ski.” or “No, I can’t ski.”. This team then earns a point. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins! There are 6 rounds total with different card variations for each round.
